About Our Logo: Why the Lantern?
Andersonville Behavioral Health has adopted as its primary symbol an illuminated lantern in hand. This logo represents the fundamental philosophy that guides the clinical practice of all ABH clinicians, as we see ourselves as working collaboratively with our patients to help them shed light on and change the recurrent patterns and cycles that interfere with their attainment of satisfaction and meaning in life. Psychotherapy in many ways is akin to a journey undertaken to pursue growth through personal truth, and it requires being able to more clearly see blind spots and obstacles that stifle healthy self-esteem, obstruct fulfilling relationships, and restrict emotional serenity.
